Ink Recents shows your recent apps as cards, one card at a time.

Swipe sideways to go to the next card. Tap a card to open that app. Swipe a
card up to close that app. Swipe a card down to close all the other apps. Two
tall buttons do the same with one tap.

Nothing animates. The row jumps from card to card in one step, because e-ink
shows a moving row as a smear. The screen is black on white, with no shadows.

A strip of icons shows every recent app. A tap on an icon brings its card to
the middle.

Android does not tell an app what is running, so Ink Recents works in one of
two ways.

With usage access, the app puts your apps in order of last use, and a card
shows the app icon.

With Shizuku, the app reads the real task list of the system, and a card closes
its task. Shizuku is a separate free app that you start from the device. There
is no computer and no root.

Open the screen from a quick settings tile, or bind a key to the intent action
dev.equwal.inkrecents.OPEN.

Ink Recents collects nothing. It has no INTERNET permission, no advertisements
and no analytics.

Made for e-ink readers (Viwoods, Onyx Boox, Bigme and others) and any
Android 12 or later.

Free software, GPL-3.0-or-later.
